Our supply chain partners adopt a combination of processes and controls for the production of Responsible Gold. Gold is tracked from mine, to refinery, to vault using the Responsible Gold Supply Chain Application (“RG SCA”). The RG SCA is only available to industry participants who meet certain industry standards with respect to the ethical and responsible sourcing of precious metals. The RG SCA records ethical provenance and tracks the transfer of custody. Tracking commences as soon as a dore bar is cast at a mine site. In connection with using the RG SCA, miners receive unique cryptographic labels (each, a “crypotseal”), which  are a cryptographic, blockchain-compatible, NFC-enabled, tamper-proof seal, and which the miner places on each dore bar. The cryptoseal ensures that the gold bar is not tampered with as it moves through the supply chain.
